PALLADA
80 years of success .
Simple solution to a complex issue
Kherson State Plant “Pallada” has a truly interesting history. Having been founded in 1936 as a “Dokstroy” it was renamed a few times – into “Kherson shipbuilding dockyard” in 1944 and then into “Kherson shipbuilding plant “Pallada” in 1970.
In the year 1977 it became a part of a Kherson shipbuilding production association as a self-supporting organization department and only in 1998 Kherson State Plant “Pallada” acquires its present name as well as complete legal and financial self-sufficiency.
But whatever the name or the dependency KSP “Pallada” had it was and it remains to be an unique company, building up-to-date reinforced concrete and composite floating docks, many of which have no counterparts in the whole world dock building experience.
The composite floating docks created by “Pallada” are known all around the globe.
Some of these docks are positively unique. They are effectively operating in the countries with a various climate conditions: in Russia (Kola Peninsula, Kamchatka, Far East, and Baltic Sea), at the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, in Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Nigeria, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey, Croatia, Bulgaria, Malta, South Africa and other countries.
